The Website
The website is a beautiful expression of the BaubleBar brand. It is simple, white with black text and buttons, to accentuate the products and pictures. Throughout the customer's shopping experience there are tips and examples of how to wear the products. The "Guest Bartender" is one example of how they do this. Each month, a new guest collection is introduced and modeled by the creator. These items have limited availability, but seeing how they are worn by the "Guest Bartender" helps women imagine themselves in the jewelry. Additionally, you can get help from the style experts in a variety of ways. BaubleBar stylists email, live chat, and video chat with customers free of charge. This service makes it easy for customers to feel comfortable and supported while trying out new styles.
Another way that BaubleBar improves the customer experience online is through a sort of rewards program called "Vault Points." For every dollar you spend, you earn one Vault Point. Ten of these points equals one dollar credited to your account, so you can save money on future baubles. This encourages customers to shop again and creates a significance to the online experience.

The Packaging
The packaging is what got me really excited about this company, and made me want to engage with their brand. First of all, shipping and returns to BaubleBar are always free. This reinforces their commitment to making fashion available to everyone. Each "bauble" comes individually wrapped in bubble wrap and sealed for safety. There are also individual care instructions included with each piece. The company cares about each piece they send out and wants their customer to be armed with the information they need. Each order also includes a complimentary travel pouch to take jewelry on the go. But my favorite part is the packaging. When you open the box, the inside is bright pink with black and white striped tissue paper. When you open the paper, there is a hand-written card from a member of the Bauble Bar team, personally thanking you for your purchase. Your jewelry is beneath, attractively arranged and individually packaged. To open each piece of jewelry, you pull up the black "YAY!" sticker on its bag.
BaubleBar makes ordering easy, shipping free, and receiving your product is fun. This is a brand that has thought through every customer touchpoint, and never misses an opportunity to make a positive impression. They celebrate your interaction with their brand and provide reasons to order again.

The Store
The only BaubleBar store is located in New York City, although their products are sold at certain Anthropologie and Nordstrom locations. The store looks like the website personified, down to the use of typefaces and design. "The Bar" brings online brand features to life. "Bartenders" are available for styling sessions to help customers learn how to wear and pair merchandise. This is a destination spot for BaubleBar die-hards, and the shopping experience provided in-store makes it well-worth the trip.
